Unable to currently see all my Pearler information in Pocketsmith, even using Yodlee, so I am unable to track my Net Worth over time in one place. Would love if Pearler could offer an API that other services can access to get current holding information.
An example would be to support something like Open Banking API, as done by several Australian Financial Institutions, including Super funds.

It would be great to track finances through api and shares even in read only so community can merge finances data from here and other platform. Pearler is doing great job of tracking bank balances as well.

I'd appreciate the ability to place a trade via API. Can already get balance details via Sharesight API.

Rebecca McDowall: Cheers! I'll be perfectly honest, we have a lot on our plate right now so if we were to do this we'd be approaching it pretty much read-only (i.e. getting balances) just to keep things simple to start. It's unlikely we'd be doing any non-read-only items anytime soon, though never say never!

"Would u/SelfWealthAus management & devs ever consider a secure API like Up Banks?
Ideally it would make for perfect google sheets / python integration. The Up Bank API uses a 'Personal Access Token' (QR Code) to make secure requests.
This is something I'd hang around for when other start-up brokers like Open Trader join the Chess sponsored, cheap brokerage party. Would be amazing if it was rolled out with the new app!
As demonstrated already in the fintech industry, this is not a difficult task for some millennial devs. Are there any brokers that have implemented a shareholder focused API?"
